Something New...Kinda.

.onion soup.. it all started with onion soup last night at benihana.. for starters i'd never been there, so that was nice..(something new #1)..dinner at a table with my two friends and about 4 other clear people.. interesting to say the least. i cant understand how rude one of the patrons were to the cook.. like. seriously. i wanted to throw my drink across the table. ugh.

.chef proceeded to flip a piece of chicken into bday girl's mouth.. score lmao. she caught it.. then he tossed me one. YUM.. it was good.. i had zucchini for the first time.. (something new #2).. then the onion soup (s.n #3).. lobster..(s.n.#4)-- it was fantastic! i was praying that i didnt turn out to be allergic.. im not, lmao. thats a good thing.. i think i'll eat more lobster.. yummy!

.i was so fascinated with the way he cooked! very skillful.. me, personally, im a food junkie, so much so i'm starting culinary school when i move to florida (johnson and wales university).. i was originally accepted in 2004 when i graduated high school, but.. i think it was fear of the unknown and another city.. being THAT far from my mom (i'm a mommy's girl).. is why i ultimately stayed (worst and best mistake ever)....anywho, i just kept it simple with a sauteed shrimp and a mai tai (soooo good!).. then the fun began..

.we went to vibes and i wore a dress *gasp*.. (something new #5).. usually, i rock leggings and a tee or some jeans or something.. im real simple when it comes to going out, i need to be comfortable.. but surprisingly enough, i was extremely comfortable in this little number. i'd bought this dress last summer and when i pulled it out of my closet the damn tag was still on it.. so sad, but i rocked the hell outta it though. good thing i'm not single or there would've been trouble, trouble, lol..

..all in all, i had a VERY fun night! im just ready to see what next week brings.. i told my girlies we need to try a Thai restaurant or something.. they're down.. We're all for a little newness in our lives!
